Our retreats are 7 days long, and always include :

- One on one with your provider to set goals for your ceremony

- 24 hour shamanic counseling with our experienced team
- A 1 hour call with our Integration Counselor, two weeks after your retreat

What is a psycho-spiritual retreat?
It is a spiritual journey to heal your mind using Iboga plant medicine and Bwiti healing techniques. Psycho-spiritual journeys are effective in treating: depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, addictive thought patterns, childhood trauma, finding your life purpose, cellular cleansing, heavy metals detox, spiritual seeking, and connecting to your soul and life purpose.
Day by day retreat breakdown
Day 1
On arrival day, a member of our team will pick you up at the airport or the nearby location of your choice, and drive to the retreat center where you can settle in and decompress.
Day 2
This day is about integrating into the space, meeting the other members of your group, and having a one on one conversation with your provider before your Iboga experience. We will all have a healthy lunch together at noon and then no eating after 2 pm for those participating. The first Iboga ceremony will begin around sundown and run through the night.
Day 3
Rest day/aftercare. When the sun rises after your first Iboga journey our aftercare provider will lead you to your private room where you can rest and integrate your experience. The medicine will still be working with you on this day and it is important that everyone take this time to listen and be with what they are receiving, and to rest. We will check on you periodically and are always available to talk.
Day 4
Spiritual shower day. The morning is spent doing the activity of your choice, such as swimming in the pool, taking a walk down the beach, or enjoying the wildlife. At 3 pm we will head out to a beautiful river for a traditional African cleansing ceremony using barks and native plants.
Day 5
On this day you will recalibrate your goals for your second journey with yourself and your provider, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the center. The second Iboga ceremony will begin around sundown and run through the night.
Day 6
Rest Day/Aftercare. When the sun rises after your first Iboga journey our aftercare provider will lead you to your private room where you can rest and integrate your experience. The medicine will still be working with you on this day and it is important that everyone take this time to listen and be with what they are receiving, and to rest. We will check on you periodically and are always available to talk.
What is a Pre-Initiation Ceremony?
This is a traditional Bwiti Iboga ceremony, a journey of self-discovery and a deeper dive into the TRUTH of reality. This ritual connects the participant to the Bwiti tribe, a spiritual healing lineage. The Bwiti use Iboga for the very important ritual of INITIATION. This rite exists in its own way in every culture in the world and marks the passage of time and major events in one’s life.
During your Pre-Initiation, you will be wearing the sacred regalia of the tribe and using various plants and medicines from Africa during your Iboga experience.
We are honored to be the first providers in the west to be given the knowledge and approval to perform this sacred ceremony.
This is the closest to the Missoko Bwiti traditional Iboga experience that you can participate in outside of Africa.
The Pre-Initiation Retreat is 8 days long and includes:
- 1 Psycho-Spiritual Medicine Journey with Iboga Root Bark and an Initiated Bwiti Iboga Provider
- 1 Traditional Bwiti Pre-Initiation Ceremony with Iboga Root Bark
- Spiritual Shower Ceremony in the River
- Your Own Private Bedroom and Bathroom in a Beautiful Retreat Setting
- Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner prepared by our chef
- 24 hour experienced shamanic counseling
- 2 outings to local towns/beaches
